Introducing the ExHale Dispenser 2.0

By Skatek · · 1 min read

The ExHale programmable dispenser beside the ExHale monitoring aerosol

In May we launched the ExHale Dispenser 2.0, a ground-up redesign of the ExHale dispenser. The aerosol hasn't changed, and the cans you already have fit the new dispenser. What has changed is how you run it.

Precise scheduling, full control

The new dispenser drops the light sensor and uses a programmable timer instead. You set the exact times you want ExHale to release: a start time and a stop time, and the dispenser follows that schedule whatever the light in the room.

You can also program up to three separate intervals in one session. That matches how bed bugs behave: a burst of activity early in the night, a quieter spell, then a second wave before dawn. A typical setup runs from 23:00 to 01:00, pauses, then runs from 02:00 to 04:00 and again from 05:00 to 06:00. You don't spend aerosol while the bugs are quiet, and ExHale runs when it does the most good.

A redesigned body

The housing is new too: dark green with ExHale branding, designed by the Skatek team. The change most technicians will notice first is how it opens and closes. The first dispenser worked, but it took some effort in the field, especially when you move fast between rooms. The new mechanism is much smoother.

The control panel can now be reached while the dispenser is in place and the cover is closed. You can change the settings in the middle of a job without taking the unit down and setting it up again. On large jobs across many rooms, that saves real time.

Same aerosol, new dispenser

The ExHale aerosol and can are unchanged, so the stock you have works with the new dispenser straight away. The upgrade is only to the unit itself.

The new dispenser is available now. Ask your distributor, or contact Skatek directly at info@skatek.no. You can read the full specification on the ExHale page.
